Is *talk turkey* a wrong expression? Our teacher in school said it everytime we make to much nonsense or didn't do our homework. In that situation he wants to talk serious to us.

Oh alright, I give in! I'm off to the USA on Friday and will be gone until the end of the month. Look after the Prize for me until I get back and please don't feed him any soup - it makes him terribly nervous.

I'm coming back home today, but will work at home till after the Olympics have finished - I have no illusions what attempting to commute will be like until then!
I hope you've been looking after the Prize well? I know he's keen to come back to me.

Oh yes. I'm glad to have escaped them, even though they do seem to have been better organised than was feared. And I'm almost in best order now myself too - just need to get over this jetlag...
